AKR Calibration
GET has more than 25 years of experience in calibration of Anti Knock Control systems.
For numerous engines, engine types such as SI-open chamber, SI-pre-chamber and DF engines, Anti Knock Controls have been successfully applied/calibrated by GET.
Our customers require a high standard of AKR calibration which does limit the in cylinder pressure fluctuation to an absolute minimum, providing the highest level of engine protection while at the same time guaranteeing the highest possible engine efficiency: „Knocking is the sound of economy“.
GET therefor recommends to use cylinder pressure referencing for the calibration process.
