Gas admission systems
GET is developing a Fuel Gas Mass Flow Control System. Short GMF. The GMF product release is foreseen to be in Q3/4 2017. The GMF device controls the true gas mass flow according to a set point provided by the engine management system / ECU.
The Control software can be implemented either as stand-alone in the GMF or alternatively as plug in into the AKR 3 system. Optionally the GMF can be interfaced with the DEIF MTR-3F-215 Power measurement device www.deif.de/products/mtr3.
By monitoring the ratio of fuel gas consumption and engine/generator power output in identical measurement intervals, a true feedback of engine efficiency can be obtained. In case significant changes in gas composition will occur, said measured ratio will act as a warning message.
Extension of the GMF with gas composition measurement extensions are foreseen in future development of the product.
